ARC

By joining ARC and one of our subgroups: Development, UI/UX, and Marketing you play a crucial role in helping us tackle the challenge of reducing waste on campus.
Soil Factory

Soil Factory is composed of individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds and expertise, including everything from agricultural science to data science. We look at our system holistically and bring in different perspectives wherever possible.
REAL

Our team consists of three sub teams working together to reach each of these goals: modeling and engineering, crop and fish selection, and stakeholder outreach.
Currents

The Currents team is working on high-efficiency HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) sensors using various tracking technologies and machine learning that will be implemented in Upson Hall.
Aquaculture

AquaCulture aims to promote educational and economic empowerment within coastal communities by creating an aquaculture system that is both financially and environmentally sustainable.
ICN 2030

Together, teams focusing on transportation, waste management, and building electrification work in policy and modeling to achieve Ithaca's carbon neutrality goals.
Solar Panel Reboot

Solar Panel Reboot works to extend a Solar Panel’s lifetime, bringing non-working solar panels back to life. We are a close-knit team with a shared passion for reducing greenhouse gas emissions through advancements in solar energy technology.
Sustainable Mobility

Our team is extremely interdisciplinary, with students from all different majors within the colleges of Human Ecology, AAP, Engineering, and Arts and Sciences. Unlike other project teams, we also have a large cohort of graduate students among our ranks. This added wisdom and professional experience within the team makes for an invigorating collaborative environment.
Sustainable City

The Sustainable City team is an interdisciplinary group of graduate and undergraduate students focused on working with city leaders and stakeholders to bring a renewed sense of identity, community, and ownership to often-overlooked parts of downtown Ithaca.
Sustainable Education

In collaboration with United World Schools (UWS), Sustainable Education is improving the architectural design of primary schools system to create a sustainable and conducive space for fostering education. We will examine the local community, culture, and resources, to fulfill the needs of local students, providing them equal opportunities for education.
Sustainable Smithsonian

We aim to improve the sustainability of the Smithsonian Institution’s collections exhibits by reducing their carbon emissions and help the institution more effectively provide the public with a clear and detailed picture of their ongoing environmental projects.
MarComm

Helps run all the media and communications throughout CUSD and oversees online presence as well as organizes organization-wide events such as socials and g-bodies.
