Founded in 2009, Cornell University Sustainable Design (CUSD) is a student run, interdisciplinary project team with a focus on hands-on impact. We bring together students from across all seven colleges to work alongside renowned faculty and knowledgeable professionals in our mission to create a network of proactively sustainable communities.

With almost 200 active members and nearly 1000 alumni spanning all Cornell colleges from Undergrad to PhD, there are limitless opportunities to learn, regardless of career or research interest

Renewable energy sources like solar and wind are growing at unprecedented rates. For example, solar power is now the cheapest form of electricity in many parts of the world, surpassing fossil fuels. This progress significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions.
